Me, me and me

I work for the Ambulance service and have done for many years, I joined the Ambulance service by sheer fluke, it was never a job I wanted nor was interested in, yet now I couldnt leave.

I work as a Dispatcher in a control room enviroment, and my basic duties involve sending the nearest and most appropriate resource for the emergency in hand.

It sounds easy, but trust me, it isnt. It should be easy, but because we as a service are amazingly understaffed, the task becomes a near impossible one.

Hopefully with this blog I can give you some kind of idea on how I operate, and how we get some funny, and some sad jobs.
